Dear Vicki, the photographs are wonderful. I am hoping to visit the Tasmanian lavender farm early next year. Your lovely card arrived today. I have placed it in My French Life. It is something I will treasure and your writing is beautiful. Enjoy your weekend. xx
Gorgeous! The fragrance must be intoxicating. I have a few lavender plants that struggle along but can't be said to flourish here in the North Carolina mountains. Oh for a FIELD of lavender!
Oh My…. I would never leave if my garden looked like this…. My friend gave me the most beautiful, and fragrant Lavender plant a few weeks back, but unfortunately I managed to over water it within tow weeks…… LOVE these images!
I have never commented on a website or a blog, but I'm a lavender-holic, and although I've never been to Provence (Paris, yes), I feel like my soul (not to mention my taste buds) belongs there! I read your postings and enjoy all of your photographs. Your pictures have made my week! I can almost smell the lavender now! Can't tell you how I envy your lifestyle – thanks for the beautiful images…
I love the way you have orchestrated the lavender and the orchard and tamed it somewhat, yet left it all natural and rustic. The distance haze of the mountains is glorious. The air must be dizzy with scent. cheers, DIANE http://www.thestylesaloniste.com
I love these pictures, the driveway shot is wonderful!!! We had people throw lavender instead of rice at our wedding. Such a wonderful scent! Thanks for sharing!
Vicki, It must be simply dreamy….I am so envious! You must walk down the drive in a drunken lavender stupor. I would imagine that life is nothing but relaxed for you all! I have been thinking of lavender ice cream lately, and this makes me want it more…Enjoy your paradise, Nathalie
Oh lovely lovely Lavender. I can almost smell it. The pictures are beautiful, the contrast of the green and purple just so fantastic. Thank you for sharing.
oh so beautiful! i am looking forward to the 'tour de france' starting tomorrow, only to see the countryside! it means we have to stay up very late here in australia, but you can get plenty of late night stitching done!
GORGEOUS photos! makes me feel like I'm standing right there…what a wonderful view, the garden and that driveway! must get back to the south of France someday! x
So very beautiful and breathtaking. One can only imagine walking through these exquisite fields. I am fairly new to blogging and became a "follower" of yours a couple of days ago. I have just added my "followers" gadget about two minutes ago. I would love you to stop by my blog and say hello. Your blog is so inspiring. Thank you.
I could say 'breath taking' – which really is – but before, I wonder, what you feel and think while looking at this beauty every day? how does it feel?
Stunning photos, Vicki. The colours remind me of a sari I bought in Singapore and had made into a dress. Purple and emerald green, just beautiful. Enjoy your weekend.
You're killing me… (jokes) Oh how I wish I was there right now, I can almost smell it!! Lavender is my all time fave, and how good does it smell in the warm sun with the bees buzzing around…? Ahhhh yes, I am desperate for summer, that's obvious! Thanks for sharing such beautiful pics, I will daydream all weekend now. Flick
Wow! Those images are absolutely stunning! I have been wanting to put lavender in my front yard, these images seal the deal for me now! Happy weekend, Vicki! xxoo
I love how it was used in the landscape in these pictures. I just field plant at my farm, but this inspires me to do something else. Thanks for sharing these pics.
Gorgeous! I would love to be surrounded by all of that lavender. Your neighbor wisely planted an impressive entrance. I don't think it grows in Puerto Rico, but I'd love to have a broad brushstroke of purple to drive through each day.
I don't know if I've ever seen anything prettier. I planted on lavender plant in a barrel last year and it's doing beautifully. After seeing these pictures, I'm envisioning much more.
There is nothing like lav in July in the South of France. As usual I am green….it is very soggy her in the tropics, the only up tic is it is the moisture is easier on the skin!
My goodness I am transfixed and I am coming to Provence one July – I promise! My hubby saw these photos and loved them. Thank you for sharing – you are blessed. x
Do you mind if I stop in for the weekend? I can just take in the scent in the air just looking at this marvelous photo! You are blessed to be surrounded by such beauty!
Your olive trees are looking 'fruitful'. I know everyone swoons for the lavender, and I do too, but as a 'restaurant wife' I zero in on the food source. The olive grove is gorgeous.
Lovely lavender photos. I just visited a lavender farm in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It was lovely but the lavender was not nearly as brilliant as yours!
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky. I reckon dear old Jimmi H. must have got his inspiration for Purple Haze right here Vicki! Something tells me you & Mr. FF may be partial to a little Hendrix every now & then! Millie ^_^

I LOVE this post! Thanks so much for sharing it. I visited Bleu d'Argens, a lavender farm in Argens and it wasn't in full bloom yet so I can only imagine what it would've looked like.
