I haven’t been to the flea markets lately… I am missing them… missing the colour, missing the life… missing the browse…
What caught my attention… was a touch of blue…

Blue was everywhere… all around, among and amidst…
Blue seemed to find my eye…

Eye spy with my little eye…
Something beginning with BLUE… xv

Ahhhh….you hit it right, as usual. My favorite color in all shades! I am the happiest when I’ve got the blues! HUGS DEAREST VICKI! Anita
Blue matches my current mood………..not a vibrant blue, but a dull, washed out version of this colour. Perhaps after the tonic of a sound night’s sleep I shall be feeling more like these cheery, great to be alive blues. Bisous
I adore blue, and these shots are magical, Vicki! We have a small but wonderful flea here in Portland that I try to go to every week to discover vintage finds, and I tend to hit the markets wherever my travels take me. In fact, my blog’s title originally came from my flea market habits. I am truly a magpie!
Speaking of vintage things, my beautiful lace arrived! I’ve been wanting to write to thank you, but my computer’s hard drive died (a 3-month-old Mac!!!), so I haven’t been online much. Am hoping the repairs will be finished today! Am borrowing my husband’s computer this morning.
Sending love and thanks to you, Vicki! xoxo Gigi
Vicki,
Blue (and white) anything actually lifts my spirits when I’m blue. Very pretty examples.
Happy Halloween.

Vicky, I am weird about the color blue. I like accessories,
and clothes. Can not stand Royal blue drapes. I remember
ripping them down the minute I bought the house on Hibiscus
Island in Miami. Yet I did a cottage in the keys with baby blue gingham checks and loved it.

You even feel “blue” beautifully, Vicki! The little slippers with the blue flower on them are adorable.
No reason to be blue dear V, when you find brocantes with all of these delights. A feast for the eyes for sure.

Ah, le bleu… Funny you should mention that color. There will be a lot of it displayed in my next story later on this week
I love the little blue slippers (or ballerines?) in that shot you took. I imagine this is something Marie Antoinette might have enjoyed wearing… Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Thanks for taking me to the market with you. It’s been far too long. I spy a blue and white vase that I would like to bring home! Lovely. XO
ahh blue, adore blue in any color. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
Very Clever…………..hope you found a blue trinket to take home!I’m hoping for BLUE skies tonight for our trick or treaters!
Beautiful blues Vicki………it would be a mistake to let me loose in a place like this. But fun.
Much love XX
I am getting that way about Orange these days.. Seeking that hue everwhere i look or choose not to look
Maybe its Halloween!!
Blue is such an eye-catching yet calming color. Best of all it reminds me of the sea!
I should know better than to click on your links…I adore that blue sequin top! And at $895, it’s a bargain compared to their No. 2 Pencil Skirt in python that I’ve been coveting (which is not blue, but is still amazing).
Nothing like French blue… in all shades. Love that floral violin case. I used to play violin many years ago, wishing I kept it up. Thanks for sharing all this beauty Vicky!
