I have a pair of leopard flats and I would agree that they are much like a neutral. I wear them with everything…I especially love the shoes with stripes, plaids or liberty prints. Leopard seems to take the outfit to a different level, sartorially speaking.
Funny I went on a leopard loafer hunt myself last year. Finally scored two great pair, one from Banana Republic that were sold out everywhere and I finally found one pair, that fits so well, I always get compliments and another pair from Net a porter. Did you look there? Christian Louboutin makes a great looking one on the high end and there’s another brand that made a really cute satin version on the lower end..worth taking a look! Good luck, I think they literally go with everything!
Yes… I have looked everywhere… and the Louboutins are sold out… have been for some time…
I haven’t found any others which is why I popped these up today when I saw they were back in stock from Net A Porter… exy.. I know… but I guess… an investment…
Oh my…..you always selected things that I WANT! I agree. Any kind of loafer can be comfortable and stylish, but what says it better than a leopard print?
I wear my Leopard ballet flats and loafers all the time. I love leopard for a neutral in interiors and fashion. For this look try the Sam Edelman ALvin flat. That is what I have and I am thrilled with them. I love the Jimmy Choo’s but the Alvin’s are at a better price point. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Funny you should ask that Sharon… I was so tempted by a pair of boyfriend jeans today… but there were too many rips… even though the fit was great for me… I think a few holes in the knees is fine… but the whole torn up scenario… tricky…
I bought the most gorgeous pair of Prada leopard calf hair loafers from Bergdorfs last season. Usually Prada is a great fit for me, but they must have used a different foot model for these, because the toe box was extremely narrow. I very sadly sent them back, and now they are no where to be found. Bergdorf’s has the Choo, and it also comes in a Snow Leopard colour, which I like much more than the Golden Leopard, but they are, bien sur, sold out except for a size 8. Are you an 8 Vicki?! I have Choo ballet flats in Leopard, so maybe I’ll go ahead and have the “set” LOL!
Vickie, I do not know if you are familiar with American accessories designer, Elaine Turner, but I believe you would love her work. She is currently opening boutiques around the the southern US and in Mahattan. You might check out her fun styles on her website ….she has some great leopard looks!!
I have small, wide feet (5 1/2 and extra wide), so I have yet to find a pair of leopard loafers that fit me. Do you know of any companies that sell extra wide (attractive) shoes?
I had a pair of cheapos that I liked but they were SO uncomfortable that I got rid of them…I need to get another pair. I saw Michelle Williams arrived in London today in a pair of black flats with cat ears!! I’m dying to know whose they are!!
Thank you very much for alerting about the goldies back in stock- ordered immediatly! Now next….please tell us which trench coat will be the stylsh, classic one to get, mine has done it ‘s duty…( Burberry 18 yrs!! )Colxx
Love leopard…my girls have told me that I tend to get carried away with the leopard theme but I would not hesitate on these. Wish I could wear themi n HCMC…maybe leopard sandals? xx
I just love the images on your blog.Always.My lovely leopard calf hair loafers come from Rupert Sanderson and they are very comfortable.I’d recommend them.
I adore the Leopard however I may have to change to my other favourite “big cat” since Jimmy Choo has the Jaguar print in their summer collection. Their website seems to have all sizes available. Love!
Leopard Loafers ARE adorable!! It’s a fabulous trend, and my favourite way to wear it is with accessories, clutches shoes – or best yet…the lining of a jacket
Leopard will never go out of style. I’m still looking for the perfect pair of leopard pumps and ballet flats – and now I’m craving a pair of loafers too. Miranda Kerr wears them so well!
Ada
That looks like ocelot that Miranda Kerr is wearing, like what they favoured at Alexander McQueen a season or so ago. I prefer that to leopard because it’s a little less everywhere and it’s also not the cheetah pattern that’s passed off as “leopard” because most people don’t know that leopard markings are basically a rosette of sorts. I do like the pair you picked out (real leopard print!)

GORGEOUS MY FRIEND! Anita
Yes.. aren’t they…
JCrew has a cute one too…the calfhair Nora….not as cute as this Jimmy Choo, but a little less expensive:)
but all sold out I fear…
Je suis d’accord – a leopard print is a great accessory to give a look just the right amount of chic!
I’ve had a pair for about 5 years. Put them away but brought them back out this winter and have worn a lot with jeans. Love them!
That is a great purchase then… the one that lasts and lasts…

will do…
Love these loafers Vicki, but actually love the whole look in the photo. So tell me, how old is too old to wear jeans with holes in the knees?!
xx

I am a 38… maybe I should be looking…
I haven’t been able to find the goldens anywhere so when I did see them ( in all sizes) I had to tell you all…
Vicki I have a similar pair I love, so fashionable and comfortable!

Not off hand… but I shall have a good look around for you…
I look at leopard as a neutral when decorating + these shoes are wonderful. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
Yes… leopard is equally fabulous for decorating… I like it anywhere Peggy…
Nope. Holes and rips in jeans looks sloppy. That is not elegant, and I won’t wear it. Those little leopard slippers on the other hand…
I had a pair of cheapos that I liked but they were SO uncomfortable that I got rid of them…I need to get another pair. I saw Michelle Williams arrived in London today in a pair of black flats with cat ears!! I’m dying to know whose they are!!
I think they would be Charlotte Olympia…
Love them! Loafers have been my staple for years and men or women need many pairs for a functioning wardrobe((:
Thanks for the tip!
Ciao z
Oh, how I love my leopard moccasins. (Also have a pair of ballerinas.)
xox,
Tish
Yes… the ballerinas are an essential too, Tish…
Believe it or not Aerosoles (if you can imagine) has a good looking pair for anyone with foot issues like myself! Take a peek they are CHEAP!!
I will… they sound great…

Trenches are on my mind… stay tuned… next week… I have to do a little more research to find you the best ones…

Loafers can be worn anywhere…
Wear them with capri pants Jeanne… or a full skirted dress… very chic… at least in the air conditioning…
