The Healthy Fat Diet

Eating more fat? Sounds delicious.

The catch is not all fats are healthy.

The answer is to know the fats that are good for us, eat more of those and lose the fats that aren’t so fabulous. 


Lily gave me 5 compelling reasons why we need to eat healthier fats and as I love most of them I don’t need much of a push.

Turmeric: The Wonder Spice

Turmeric is a wonder spice.

I asked Lily all about why the hype for turmeric is so great.

Before I hand over to her, there is one element I will warn you about; the colour.

My first experience with turmeric was somewhat challenging. All I can say is the orange/yellow teeth stain which took forever to remove, was not a pretty look. Fortunately 3 toothbrushes later, it wasn’t permanent.

I must have become over excited and added to much of this wonder spice to the mix ;)

The Simple Way To Detox

The simple way to detox?

Is there such a thing? I mean, has detoxing ever been simple?


Lily tells me there are certain foods to aid detox and they are easy and delicious to incorporate in our diets. The more I learn from Lily, the more I see a pattern emerging. There are some foods we can’t avoid and we shouldn’t. 


After the summer and a little vacation time I need to up my intake of these foods.

Better Not Younger: A Game Of Challenge

Better, not younger.

The more I say it, the more I like it.

This is a game of challenge.
It is a challenge not to want to look younger, feel younger, act younger and “be” younger.

We know in all honesty we can’t but it doesn’t stop us trying.
Even the more confident of us must waiver slightly from time to time.

Awareness of what is right, the knowledge of good sense and the wisdom to follow through are not always by our side.
