I asked Lily all about why the hype for turmeric is so great.
Before I hand over to her, there is one element I will warn you about; the colour.
My first experience with turmeric was somewhat challenging. All I can say is the orange/yellow teeth stain which took forever to remove, was not a pretty look. Fortunately 3 toothbrushes later, it wasn’t permanent.
I must have become over excited and added to much of this wonder spice to the mix ;)
Is there such a thing? I mean, has detoxing ever been simple?
Lily tells me there are certain foods to aid detox and they are easy and delicious to incorporate in our diets. The more I learn from Lily, the more I see a pattern emerging. There are some foods we can’t avoid and we shouldn’t.
After the summer and a little vacation time I need to up my intake of these foods.
