Turning The Masculine Feminine With Pinstripes

Saint laurent photographed for Harpers Bazaar in 1967, vickiarcher.com

I do like a masculine turned feminine style, in particular pinstripes.

It works very well with a classic approach to dressing and our focus on essential pieces that turn and turn for us.

I found the best trousers recently.

I would not have imagined wearing them so confidently but once I tried them on, that was it.

Pinstripes, of course.

Pinstripes work because on the one hand they are tailored but they can also be worn in a relaxed way. Think with an oversized sweater and sneakers or a tee and ballet flats. A welcome change from the jeans or classic blacks?

How to wear them?

I love the pinstripes worn with a big sweater, either turtleneck or oversized pullover.

I went with a cream top but I also like pale grey, navy or uniform black. On the feet, I have been wearing my sneakers, ballet flats or loafers.

No socks required.

I have already worn these pants so much I am thinking grey flannel could also be fun? xv
