Dress It Up

Dress it up is my mind-set right about now.
Not to dress it up in the formal sense but to wear a dress and more often.

I am in the mood for dresses.

The weather is better and brighter, the daffodils are blooming and the birds are the morning’s wake-up call; that’s my signal to think outside the pants-and-sweater daily ritual.

I have decided I do a fashion hibernate in winter. It feels all so exciting when I first glimpse the new season’s heavy coats and shoe styles but as the months roll on I become stuck in my ways.

I have a way of wearing the same look, or variations of those same looks, every day.

The piece that had me going into raptures and convinced me I couldn’t live without it is now on my oh-no-I-wearing-this-again radar.

It’s not the fault of fashion; it’s about greeting a new season and relishing the change.
