Slipper time is the cosiest time.
Slippers have come a long way from the old-fashioned, old-lady types I remember as a child.
I would not have been caught dead wearing slippers some years back. Now, I cannot wait to unlace the sneakers or slip off the heels and slide into my fun slippers of an evening. Until a few years back, slippers were cute if you were a child or a necessity if you were elderly; there wasn’t much that was glam or fun in the middle.
The scene has changed and there is plenty of humour to be found in the slipper.
And comfort.
