The Kitten Heel: A Pair I Can’t Live Without

A feline I can’t go without.

Saying there’s a pair of shoes I can’t live without is a strong statement.

There isn’t an exact style I can’t go without until I saw these kitten heels.

The kitten heel is sexy, iconic and just about ‘go with everything’ in my wardrobe, they’re the ultimate bootie.

And vastly understated.

Ideal for those days we want a little height without jeopardising the future of our ankles, it’s the comfortable raise to have us roaming the town all day and all night.

Amplify day time dressing and pair them with dresses and skirts, or slip under cigarette pants for some serious androgynous sartorialism.

Kitten heels provide the dainty finish many outfits call for, which is why we’ve made them our go-to, best of both worlds, shoe.

This more budget-friendly pair will also seal the deal, and comes in a variety of colours; although black is classic.

The slim shape of the boot and delicate heel will elongate the legs and be ever so flattering.

This is the feline I’ll be holding onto for the foreseeable future.

I’m with you on these Vicki. I’ve always loved a kitten heel whether this be a stylish ankle boot, a black suede evening sling back or a bright summer sling back. Love them! As you say easy to wear and walk in and match perfectly with jeans, or a dress or capris. Over the years I’ve had many; I’ve had them reheeled and a little triangular piece on the underneath of the sole towards the pointed bit where I for some reason seem to wear them down. My favourite ever kitten heels ny husband bought me in St Remy – very French and with leather tassels to tie around my ankle and leg. Divine!

Vicki, I posted a comment yesterday – nothing controversial so no issues with moderation – but it’s not here and I can see any other comments unless no one had mad a comment which is unusual!
I also had difficulty posting recently with Error captcha coming up, each time I had to redo the simple maths question – not hard and definitely got these accurate – and in some cases rewrite my post. Is this just me?

I haven’t seen a pair of these darling boots since growing up in the 1960s…all of us girls wanted these SO badly! Thank you for always bringing back classic styles to our attention! These are sensational, Vicki!

P.S. I also dressed yesterday with YOU in mind. I remember something you posted once about how French women use what they have to reinvent a look, by combining basic, well-made pieces to create a new look. I did just that, and what a result. I felt as if I was wearing a new outfit, I loved the color combination, and my colleagues loved my look!
