THE EMPORIUM, my latest online venture, is live.
It has been a long time in the making and yet it seems moments ago the idea became a reality. I absolutely love change, re-invention and anything else that keeps us getting up each day clear, focussed and with great intention.
It’s important to me to be engaged, to be busy and to be mentally active. I am not one to sit still.
I don’t want anything to change here at VA and I see THE EMPORIUM as an extension, a natural progression.
Our conversations are everything and the spark to fuel the rest.
The first collection, Heart of Gold, was an easy place to start.
There are 33 pieces, each one unique and chosen by me. Whenever I recommend anything I have 3 rules; I must either have it already or be 100% convinced, have tried it and been persuaded or it’s on my serious wish list.
Sourcing for THE EMPORIUM was no different, I fell in love with each and every piece.
I buy from the heart, not from the practical and I have never worked any other way.

Which of the 33 pieces is my favourite?
I can’t honestly say; each object is numbered and has its own name. No 4 and No 5 are very special but then so are No 19 and No 30. I cannot choose. Each one means something different to me.
