What else do you need?
I do love a holiday when all that is required is a bathing suit and a caftan.
It is a freedom that makes swimming, relaxation and book reading all the better.
Caftan collecting has become a bit of a hobby for me and as much as I’d love Vita Kin and Thierry Colson to be the majority of my wardrobe staples, I do find there are other fabulous ones on offer that are less of an investment. Like this one.
There are caftans to wear over the swimsuit and caftans for going about – at least that’s how I divide them up. I love a mix of prints and plains – especially these dramatic, exciting patterns. When I travel to a destination where it is all about swimming, then that is all that goes into the pack.
The perfect recommendation, Still Life was my holiday read and I am full of praise for it; totally transporting and beautifully written. It went super well with the caftans and the lounging ;) xv
