All I want to wear is an oversized sweater.
Dress, that is.
Today I’ve yoga stretched and bent until all I want to do is be cosy, comfortable and relaxed. The delicious feeling of a well-worked over body means I can’t stand the thought of any buttons, zips or tight waistbands. Feeling lazy? You got it.
These days the oversized sweater dress is called for. Forget the fancy, the detailed and the figure-hugging stretch – I’m talking baggy but with style. Plus these babies for added comfort. When I venture out I’ll add some booties and a white raincoat; it’s pouring down in old London town and an umbrella won’t be enough. It’s a full-on plastic cover-up day.
There is something to be said for a sweater dress that has the freedom of workout clothes but style enough to feel well-dressed. Double up with another sweater tied around the shoulders for added luxury.
That’s me dressed and ready to go. xv
