Five Museum Cafés: The Paris List

Museum cafés in Paris can be just as wonderful as viewing the exhibitions.

I have put together a few of my favourite cafés to stop and take a break. Some are fabulous lunch or afternoon tea destinations despite the museum. Museum cafés are often forgotten in the rush to try the latest brasserie.

Don’t forget when planning your adventures Tuesday is often a “closed” day for many museums and their restaurants. xv

What a delightful journey! I also have a particular love for Cafe Marly at The Louvre – and plan to clip this post as the basis for a lovely week in Paris – soon!!!!

One of my absolute favorites is the tea room at the Jacquemart-André in the 8th. Divine pastries in a beautiful setting.

Vicki, pray tell, what is the stunning café in the opening photo of this post—the one with the chandeliers on the ceiling and those uber-cool chairs? Merci. J’adore your blog!
