Lela Rose is a brand I look for on sale.
I adore the dresses and find them suitable for so much of my lifestyle; they are elegant, well made and generally I find they suit and flatter. The styles aren’t trussed up and fancy but the details make up for all of that.
I have found two excellent pieces in the Anniversary sale – a beautiful dress and a seriously gorgeous blouse. The dress I am wearing with sneakers – I know it’s not for everyone – but I like it. Tonight I’m swapping out for these as I have a dinner to go to. I really enjoy the versatility of dresses and in particular, this one.
The blouse is a winner.
It comes in black and white and while an investment on a cost per wear basis it will earn its keep. Wear all black, or all white or mix it up – I will wear it with pants and jeans.
If you are more generous in the hips, like me, this one is a brilliant shape.
