Paris Fashion Week… In A Capsule…

Tommy Ton - style.com

I wish I were in Paris right now for fashion week… so I could report back to you exactly the trends as I saw them…

I would be thinking about what to wear for the ready-to-wear.

I have had a luscious browse and these would be some of the pieces on my wish list…

No restrictionsno practicalities considered… none at all… after all it’s fashion week… and it’s Paris.

Dearest Vicki! First of all, I have been getting your blog via email, so no problem on my end.

FASHION WEEK IN PARIS? How I wish I could magically transport my 8th grade students there – both the boys and girls would enjoy that so much! My seniors are going through learning the subjunctive now, so I bet they too would love a hit of Paris on the weekend!

FE has been around five years now? My 6th anniversary is coming in January. It’s been wonderful, hasn’t it?

Wishing you a relaxing and inspired weekend. Anita

I have been to fashion week in NY but never Paris. While working at
Ralph Lauren and Perry Ellis, I have the fondest memories of the runway shows. There was such excitement in the air. What is fashion week like in London? It would be fun and exhausting one season to participate in all the fashion shows of the season( Ny, London,Paris and Milan)
I would chose the amazing Eiffel Tower heels and the balmain blazer.

Ooh, I do believe that, for our sake, you do need to plan a French Essence Does Paris Fashion Week reportage. Not for your sake mind you, it would be something you would do as a sacrifice for your readers…

And oh that dress. It made me have a girly fluttery moment. :) I like everything that you selected but that dress? You would have it for the rest of your life.

Bon Weekend à toi aussi!

Love the selection Vicki. Have been seriously contemplating some leopard print shoes after seeing them on a very chic Italian woman in Como. Just what I need to give a lift to my very conservative wardrobe.

Enough to give me some new inspiration for my own wardrobe. The classic feminity of the dress has me plotting where I will be wearing it!
I may be dreaming but it is a beautiful story.

Hi Vicki wish I could be in Paris anytime Oh except winter I live on top of the heater through our winter so you can imagine. I love the dress and the wool blazer they are beautiful, but the shoes I’m not sure I haven’t been brave enough to wear high heels since I hurt my ankle. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Regards Esther from Sydney.

I was struck by the beautiful array of coats whilst in London.
Couldn’t resist a lovely deep green one!
So sorry about getting together.
Next time!

I would be happy too with your selection of items which would be so versatile in my wardrobe too! I especially like the Isabel Marant coat and the black booties. A pop of red has been on my radar for a while as I actually don’t have anything red and yet I have been admiring it on others for some time. I’ll start with an accessory and who knows, I might be hooked!

Hello Vicki, I love the Balmain blazer and stunning dress. They would be such a fabulous addition to my wardrobe.I love blazers they are such a staple to have and can be dressed up,or down.I would love to wear the pumps but they are from another life only to be worn for a short period! Trish
