Put Your Best Point Forward

Prada Points - prada.com

I am so happy about that.

As much as I love my heels… I grab every opportunity I can to wear a flat.

This season the pointed toe is peeking out from everywhere… and the beauty is that they look good with pretty much every outfit.

The point elongates the foot and makes the ankle appear slimmer… nothing to complain about there.

Wear them with jeans, with the a-line midi… and dresses… The pointed toe flat looks fresh and elegant.

They are about to become my daytime go to…

Below are my choices…

For me, they are prettiest pairs around… from the super extravagant to the more affordable…

As I said here Love when fashion goes our way… xv

Having been in Provence many times your blog is a pleasure to read. Your taste is exquisite. I look forward to waking up and seeing your email. Thanks.

Hi Vicky,
I agree with Rochelle above…I too look forward to waking up and reading your blog! It puts me in the right “French” mood for the rest of the day. I’d love to win a beautiful colored fashion etching in your upcoming giveaway…so ideal for my love of all things French. Thanks for your wonderful inspiration for all of us who can’t live in Provence! You’re simply the BEST! That’s my best point forward!

I love my heels and know that my feet, legs and back are conditioned to wearing them. When I switched to more flats last spring and summer I began to develop plantar fascia {so painful}. Now that is in under control I am buying shoes with at least a bit of wedge or heel.
But wow – the ones pictured above are so cute!

I am thrilled that the flat, pointed toe is back Vicki! I have several lovely ‘LK Bennett’ pairs that I have stored away for years, waiting for them to come back! Beautiful choices of yours…..

Have a lovely weekend,

I am an enormous fan of flat shoes. Love my height at 5″11 but heels sometimes are too much. It is time for me to stock up on all the great flats offered this spring. Thank you for the inspiration. What are your thoughts on the sneaker trend?

Love them, oh those silver lovelies above… and it’s the best prevention from bunions- that awful looking and painful condition that makes your bone jut out to the side of the foot. So hello flats!!

I also am glad to see that flats are back. They always make a statement, casual and fashionably savvy, whimsical or sophisticated. The pointy toed Pradas seem to capture all of these! They are so lovely!

I love flats, but alas my poitned shoe days are over. I have slim ankles but the width of my feet has increased over the years, so like the ugly stepsisters from Cinderella, now I just can’t squeeze my foot into shoes…………with an exaggerated point. Bon week-end

I love flats as well and how I have changed my opinion since my younger days when heels were the only acceptable shoe with a dress. Fashion and sensibility can go hand in hand. A wonderful bright sunny day in Bunbury with just a touch of Autumn in the air.

Hi Vicki I loved looking at Prada (studded tassel moccasins) and J Crew (Lucie printed leather flats) they look so comfortable for ladies that can’t wear pointy shoes anymore (me), and I can imagine them with all kinds of outfits. Thank you for sharing I do love looking at shoes. Till next time Regards Esther from Sydney. PS we have a storm happening over here I’m glad to say is washing my windows….Hah. Oh I’m going back to look at some more shoes.
