How beautiful and I can just imagine the smell. I grew up in a household that had roses in our garden but Dad would never let us pick them. According to him, they looked better on the plant than in a vase. He's still the same. I pick mine as soon as they bud to enjoy inside. Hope you have time to smell the roses over the weekend.
I don't know which is more beautiful, the bouquet or the mise en scene!have a great weekend,Sharon

Heaven in a vase !Looks as if you have my very favourite rose amongst those gorgeous blooms – is it a Cecile Brunner ?We are now in Provence and LOVING every single minute – I cannot believe how prolific the rose bushes are here – and that's coming fom a Perthite where roses do well even though it is so hot and dry…Vicki, I can so relate to how you love life in this part of the world … mind you I am feeling very mellow and in love with life after a delightful meal at Bistro du Paradou !!!Enjoy the weekend, Joanna Brazier xx
