The sweater dress is one I always want.
Despite whatever else is happening in life; this dress is unbeatable for ease, comfort and look.
The long sweater style is a dress that sits between the casual and the dressy; it can take you anywhere on the fashion barometer. A dress to wear when you don’t know what to wear and a dress that works on those days when nothing in the wardrobe will do.
I have plenty of those – that never changes.
There are days I wake up and cannot even begin to fathom out what I feel like wearing. Life is throwing curveballs when it comes to what to wear at the moment and this tends to open up a world of indecision and oftentimes disinterest. It’s not what we want. Jeans or tailored pants are all well and good but there are some days when I cannot begin to contemplate a tighter silhouette and as much as I do love my new current liason with the sweats – It cannot be every day.
That’s where a sweater dress works its magic. It is comfortable, super flattering and perfect with those boots we talked about earlier and it looks great underneath a puffa or an overcoat.
