Hanging Gardens, Ubud, Bali

I’ve been thinking about organising a girls trip.

A handful of my besties and I together for a week or so, with nothing to worry about and no decisions to be made other than what we should eat or drink or talk about next; a luxurious escape from our busy lives.

Bali and The Hanging Gardens in Ubud has caught my eye.

It looks to have everything we could possibly need for an amazing getaway. The Spa looks fabulous (very high on my priority list) and there are many options for activities should we be so inclined – yoga, Balinese cooking classes and the traditional markets in Ubud.

However, it is the spectacular infinity pool suspended over the surrounding jungle that has really captured my imagination. The pool was voted #1 in both Condé Nast Traveler “best swimming pools in the world” and Trip Advisor’s list of “10 jaw-dropping hotel pools”. I can imagine many leisurely hours spent relaxing and chatting by the pool with those girlfriends who mean the most to me.

A Balinese break from reality. What more could a girl ask for? xannabelle
