Dads are the best for those of us who had men in our lives that were loving, gentle but FIRM (oh dear, all he had to do was put his hand on his belt and I would run like the wind!) and gave us a legacy. Mine was inventive, SMART as all get-out, but is gone. These are great gifts for the many of distinction, Vicki! ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND! Anita

Vicki I had to laugh at the ending quotes, yes I remember those, also “someone else did it”!

Great Father’s Day gifts!

Thanks for the reminder! We always get a lot of attention in Puerto Rico for Mother’s Day but somehow the poor guys get overlooked! Those bright shorts are such a laugh! Lovely blog as usual, Vicki! I’ve been away but it’s so warmly comforting to see that your blog beauty shines on!

“The Manual for a Stylish Life” looks like a good pick…wandering through Amazon, I found “Shameless Exploitation in Pursuit of the Commom Good” about Paul Newman’s charity. A book about the quintessential man’s man…for my man this Father’s Day. On a side note, I sadly had to return the Carven LBD. More than just a hair too short. At nearly 50 I think I finally know better. That is the good thing about bags and shoes.

Sorry about the dress…:) I agree length is important and it’s always impossible to determine how long something is when it’s worn by the glamazon models…
Paul Newman… that’s a good idea… xv

Well, I love Mr. Porter so I must grab a copy of this book. Didn’t know about it. Sending Mr. Archer best wishes for a fun-filled weekend with his family. Much love, V !

Father’s Day in Australia isn’t until September. My father was 43yrs old when I was born and I only had him for 15 years. I remember him as a gentle man who loved me very much. As a child I could walk down to his office in town and his secretary would let me type on her electric typewriter “The old brown fox jumped over the lazy dog”. Thanks for the memories.
