Favourite French Stories

I don’t know about you but I am still feeling in the holiday mood… aka… I am feeling a little lazy… I can’t quite get myself back into the work mode and do those things that should and need to be done. Perhaps it is because life is still in ‘slow mo’ in my part of the world or perhaps it is because I haven’t taken down my Christmas decorations as yet… I always feel that the house looks so sad when they disappear… who knows… but truthfully, I am loving this relaxed pace… because it can’t last…

What have I been doing?
Reading… and re-reading all my favourite French memoir style books…
If you are in the mood, like me, for some Francophilia… I suggest…

(European readers can find them here, here, here and here)

These are just some of my favourites… I love their easy pace… they require nothing more than a smile and a sigh from time to time.
No mental calisthenics or mind bending philosophies… just easy light reading on a subject I hold dear… France.
Perfect for the weekend… so perfect to maintain that holiday mood…xv
