How far would you go for a boulangerie. The perfect baguette and a mouth watering eclair?
Sometimes a girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do… so I did… I took the train to Paris and feasted on some of the most delicious gateaux I have tasted.
Not the way to start the New year… I know… I should be full of resolve and resolution… but I prefer to think that a petite taste of Paris is far better for my psyche than a list of restraint.
There is nothing more indulgent than roaming the streets in search of the perfect pastry… and that’s what I did.
As I boarded the train home, baguette under my arm, I couldn’t wipe the smile of my face.
Total indulgence, simple pleasures… they make life grand… xv
