Velvet Crush

I have always been an admirer of velvet.

When I was small, velvet was a favourite. I still recall my first pair of black velvet trousers and I remember dressing my daughters in velvet. I am not sure what they thought about it but I thought they looked beautiful.

There is something so luxurious, so glamorous and old world about velvet. The sheen, the texture and the feel of the fabric are elements I love.

I have been coveting a velvet blazer for the longest time. It would be one of those pieces that could become an essential in the wardrobe. A velvet blazer could change things up a little, maybe be an easy option for travelling every now and then; especially with temperatures dropping.

I can see this velvet blazer working with everything. xv
