Where To Save: The Velvet Kimono

Where To Save: The Velvet Kimino on vickiarcher.com

Velvet is one of my heart stoppers.
I can’t really take the credit for finding this little beauty though.

Last weekend was Mother’s Day in England and we all had a wonderful lunch together. Those days are the best, aren’t they? It doesn’t matter how often I see my three, it is never enough.

Emily arrived, looking wonderful as always – she is one of those lucky girls that look beautiful from morning until night, whether it is dressed for the office or going to the gym – she has that way about her. She was wearing this velvet kimono.

Embroidery and velvet together for me are a winning combination. This jacket is gorgeous and when she told me where it was from and how much I knew it was one for our, “Where to Spend, Where to Save” series.

I wore mine with the classic black pants and I also added it to my little black dress, for another layer. The kimono style is as versatile as you wish to make it; I dressed it up and down. The best part, it’s a lovely piece to add to the wardrobe and it’s a saver all around.

I thought you might like one too. xv
