I love this movie. And I love Bridget Jones.
Too often, movies lack a strong female protagonist, with the lead female character tending to fall into the “damsel in distress” category.
Bridget has many flaws, she’s impulsive, awkward and neurotic – she’s relatable.
Fundamentally, she’s struggling with her imperfections and making an effort to give up bad habits and become a better person.
She is taking control of her life. xannabelle
