Having A Cape Crush

tommy ton captures the cape on the street, vicki archer.com

I have had a cape crush for ages.

I should have bought one last year but I resisted.

Not this season.

Why?

I was worried about holding a handbag, not without sleeves and finding it awkward.

I have decided I don’t mind one bit as everywhere I look capes are featured big time and I like them more and more. The whole swishing and wrapped up concept is turning my head.

I will have to adapt.

The idea of a full skirt peeping out from an extravagant cape makes me feel all LIttle Red Riding Hood, hopefully without the nasty moments. Or, a cardigan version with slim pants that looks elegant and sophisticated.

I have never had a cape and it’s time. xv
