It’s officially the start to the holidays… Old London town is bright, buzzy and crackling with festive anticipation… I have never seen London look so pretty and so ready to party. The lights are twinkling, the decorations are going up and the weather is setting the perfect scene.
Cold, cold, blue sky days are, if nothing else, putting me in the mood for the celebrations.
Every afternoon I have been taking advantage of this clarity to take photographs… The Royal Hospital in Chelsea and the Duke of York Square, pictured below, seemed to me to be the right start for my holiday countdown…
Golden leaves, golden light and happy children make for gracious elements.
