I wear J. Crew, my daughters wear J. Crew and my friends wear J. Crew… I have even given my mother J.Crew.
That is quite an achievement… We not only span the ages but our taste and styles are very different.
Jenna Lyons mixes the prints and the plains… the classic with a twist… and she symbolises the J.Crew style.
The merchandise is affordable and of good quality… the shops are pretty and the online experience a pleasure.
My test with a brand is how often I would like to buy… if I wasn’t disciplined I could be at the J.Crew ‘checkout’ every day.
I wear their trousers, their cashmeres, their shirts and their jackets. The fit works for me and they generally have my size.
There is nothing more frustrating than making the decision to buy… clicking… and only finding size 2… Demoralising and irritating.
I can mix J.Crew with so many pieces I already have… I can dress it up and I can dress it down.
And as for the jewellery… that’s the very best part…
