It started with the double pearl earrings, an ingenious way to re-invent the studs, from Dior.
As I focus on the essentials pieces in my wardrobe translate that as wearing a variation on a theme more and more, I am drawn to accessories to feel up to date and to provide a contemporary interpretation.
Jewellery in particular.
I am not talking serious jewels, more like fun additions to the jewellery box. Nothing precious just pretty.
I am loving the look of this finery worn together.
I have been collecting ‘barely there’ bracelets and wearing them together with everything.
They don’t overwhelm but they make me feel feminine and add an extra something.
Like the mise-en-dior style earrings, they work.
Then there are the rings worn on every finger, below and above the knuckles.
The idea that the more is merrier.
Like all trends, that is open for interpretation.
I wear a couple on each hand and that’s generally enough.
The same goes for the drop earrings.
Fine and feminine is the look.
I’ll be wearing these arme de l’amour drops during the holidays, in the evenings.
At this time of year, we are often the last to cross our minds in the large to-do list that is the holidays,
I thought a little sparkle wouldn’t hurt… xv
