Not those kinds of moody blues.
The “blues” kind when it becomes the colour du jour and breaks the monochrome lock of all black or all winter white. As much as the mind is willing to colour the rainbow and create combinations endlessly the reality is much more sombre. At least with the casual existence, a little khaki from time to time, but generally by now, my easy gear is pretty predictable.
Then I remembered the blues – the vivids, the double denim and the baby blues. I love blue on black, blue on blue and blue on creme so why had I forgotten them? The purchase of a sweater has had me rushing back to all the shades of moody blue. The jeans are back out, squeezed into and the blues double act renewed.
This one with jeans and a tee is a moody blue winner. xv
