When does there ever need to be a reason to enjoy the pretty?
London is extraordinarily beautiful right now, showing off with giant sprays of blossom and blooms galore.
It might be freezing but it really is something.
Once upon a time on my French adventures, I would stock up on a certain, very inexpensive lingerie brand – it was beautifully made, comfortable for those times when the shapewear wasn’t called for and extremely feminine. Not to mention a realistic price. I stumbled upon it again on my searches and thought you would enjoy the acquaintance if you haven’t already. My favourite pieces are below.
Then my lace fancy led me to this dress which is my fabulous find for this weekend. This dress (I would go with black because it is inexpensive and more often than not looks best in black) has all the elements I look for in a dress; a small sleeve, a good neckline and hem length with a small amount of detail. I’m also drawn to the waistline with the seams in this flattering way. I think it’s a winner with a pair of fabulous heels or a mule – be brave and wear it with your sneakers.
Things will be changing here at VA in the near future and I am very excited to get it up and running. In the meantime I have much to keep me occupied while I work on the final details. In between writing I’m taking time for these beauties. xv
