Wrap up in cashmere? Yes please.
As the temperatures drop I find myself thinking “cashmere”.
Cashmere sweaters are part of my winter uniform. I like to think that I might become more creative with my dressing each morning but I always end up in the same place.
Cashmere sweaters worn with the Pixies or a pencil skirt are my essentials.
I like the sweaters to be slim fitting, ‘V’ or round neck and with a band finishing the hemline.
Cashmere is warm, comfortable and not restricting.
Add a scarf, a little bling and outfit done.
There are some fab cashmeres, many on sale, to be had from Halogen .
I have given up buying expensive cashmere, in my experience it doesn’t last or wear that much better.
If you are in Europe then look no further than Uniqlo… their cashmeres are a great shape and price.
How do you look after your cashmere?
I try not to wear the same sweater two days in a row to preserve the texture and I also use a cashmere comb to remove any baubling or loose threads. That makes all the difference.

every shade of grey cashmere is in my wardrobe alongside the cream, navy and the black but if i’m splashing out, the violets and purples get my “almost essential” vote
