How many bangles can we wear at any one time?
I don’t think there is a limit, do you?
I have always worn bangles ever since I can remember, like earrings they are part of my personal style. I wear them stacked, mixed and in no particular order. As they come on and off they find their own place. I remove them at night, leave them on the dressing table and then muddle them all over again the next day. They are fun like that; no rules, no reason.
Bangles are collectibles without limit, no age restrictions or body pre-requisites apply. Don’t you love that?
And the sound.
I like the clicking and clacking, the mix of surfaces jostling and making music together.
Along with the pearl earrings, my bangles are travelling with me in the next couple of weeks. Leaving them behind would feel all wrong and besides they will dress up the very simple basic black wardrobe that will be in my suitcase.
I have curated my favourite bangles for Nordstrom.
When I wear mine I make a mix of thin and wide, of colour and texture. I combine the metals and the gems; the faux and the real.
The lucite with the rose gold and the diamontes looks wonderful.
For Mother’s Day I am hinting monogram. I have a little crush on monogram, especially these beauties from Moon & Lola.
Which bangles are your favourites? Truthfully, I found it hard to chose and it took me forever to narrow it down this far.
There is only one rule with bangles; the more the merrier… xv
