You don’t have to be in Venice to find Venetian loafers.
Although it would be fun; I know the best place.
Today’s sale picks are shoes; not too many, as you know the drill.
I get so confused if I look at “everything” all at the same time.
Yes, I found some.
They follow my guidelines and the shapes are classic enough to last but fun enough to feel fab in.
The First: The Venetian Loafer
This shoe has been bought back to prominence by The Row, a label I love but find overwhelmingly expensive, and when I find a “look-alike” that’s pretty good at a fraction of the price, I am all in. Black and Bordeaux are my choices.
how to wear: love this shoe with jeans, with wider leg pants and a blazer or with this cute shirtwaist dress.
The Second: The Pasha Pump
A court shoe – that’s what we called them – needs to be a modern shape. There are court shoes and court shoes and these are a very flattering shape for the foot. Go up half a size and what about navy and black?
how to wear: try them with your white jeans and a black tee or a midi skirt and sweater when it cools down.
The Third: The Tilly Bootie
These are a shape to wear with just about everything. I like a snug ankle fit, a fine toe and a chunkier heel in a bootie. Walk all day and stay upright into the evening ;)
how to wear: shorter style pants, oversized sweaters, and your tailored winter coat.
