An Easter Picnic

What do you think about a picnic? An Easter picnic…

I like the idea… a little reading in the garden with lots of eating and a glass or two… perhaps some piano music from Ludovico Einaudi to listen to…

Something easy… and relaxed… delicious food and chilled, chilled bubbles…

Bubbles with a drop or two of French St Germain, elderflower liquer…

not too sweet and not too dry… just about right…

I have been reading one of my best foodie blogs, What Katie Ate and was thinking of making…

Caramelised Onion and Goat Cheese Tartlets with Balsamic Glaze accompanied with a little Green Salad…

not too heavy… not too light… just about right…

and if I am truly dedicated… these Mocha Chocolate and Cherry Lamingtons would follow…

delicious and perfect in every way…

Have a wonderful Easter… and a lovely, lovely weekend… xv
