For The Doubters: Leopard Print #5

Not everyone is comfortable in leopard print.

Some wear leopard top-to-toe and some don’t wear it at all.

I’m a believer in balance and as a rule it works in most instances. I am not a fan of all over leopard; I like a contrast with another plain. That’s not to say I don’t wear leopard everything, I am brave when it comes to the animal spots, just not everything at the one time.

I thought for the doubters amongst us, for those who want to try a touch of leopard print but are reluctant, they should start the easy way.

My first leopard print piece was a scarf.

I still have it and even though the scarf is darned in many places, I wear it every time I travel. Perhaps it is my comfort blanket for the airplane! It is very cosy but also it dresses up the very plain and practical all black I usually wear when I am on the move.

Normally I would say to you, when in doubt both feet out.

A leopard print scarf does not make me feel like that. All I can tell you is you won’t regret it or look back. You may even graduate from the scarf to the shoes and on to a dress.
