A little bohemian and a touch of the relaxed in a blouse is a spring summer wardrobe addition that I favour.
The boyfriend and girlfriend jeans are the perfect accessories for a pretty shirt. The tee shirt with tailored jacket is a fabulous look but occasionally and especially on the weekends I like to wear something softer, more feminine.
I think we called them, peasant blouses; I have always liked the style and especially when worn with a looser fitting jean.
I wear the Melissa Odabash blouse slightly tucked in at the front and hanging longer at the back.
This is a flattering little trick. Somehow by smoothing the front, the waist slims and the back stays covered where I like to be covered.
On my recent trip to the U.S I wore the army style jacket everyday, over the blouse (or tee-shirt) and swapped the shoes depending on occasion. These pieces worked so well together and made life very easy on the road. Now at home, I continue to wear the look.
