I have found the sweater.
The lace-ups are working well and the skirt is having a moment but it needs a sweater. A sweater makes these pieces that much more relaxed; love the blouses but often times and particularly on the weekends or after hours the addition of a sweater changes everything completely.
Cashmere is the best but cashmere with a bit of the rest actually fits very well. This is a fabulous shape in a myriad of colours – the “lipstick“ shade is sensational – and a good price point. I don’t want to wear a super over-sized sweater all the time and I like an indented band to finish the shape off. I find a wider band on the bottom, rather than a raw finish or a small hem so much more flattering.
Lace-up boots + midi + sweater; I’m thinking check. xv
p.s such fab colours apart from lipstick – persimmon, rooibos, ivory and charcoal
