I Don’t Want TO live without my turtleneck sweaters in the winter months.
The last few weekends we have been venturing out and enjoying the English countryside; the turtleneck has been in my bag each time. I have worn it with my Capri woollen pants, my leather leggings and even under my sweater dress when the temperatures were much lower than expected.
Ever since my first viewing of Funny Face and my last of Something’s Gotta Give I have been a fan.
(Between us, I also like the turtleneck style because it covers the neck – don’t get me started about the neck, a conversation for another day – but I do appreciate the high rolling nature of this cover-all jumper.)
I like the way a turtleneck flatters the jaw line and whether hair is short or long it adds a defining line.
The turtleneck sweater has been a wardrobe staple for so many years.
There is something quite youthful and smart about a turtleneck.
When in doubt look no further. This turtleneck is our true fashion friend. xv.
