Beauty is something we women think about often.
I do anyway.
It’s not a question of vanity, it’s about pleasure.
Beauty is a ritual for me.
A long soak in delicious bath oil, a rejuvenating and moisturising face mask or a new lipstick and nail colour can make the dullest day turn right.
Silly really, but small pleasures are the most rewarding.
I’m thinking of creating my own beauty box for the holidays.
A box full of delicious goodies that I will use and one that could also be the perfect gift.
Having all our favourite beauty products in one place should prompt us to be more vigilant in taking care of ourselves and encourage relaxation.
Hard work deserves hard play, especially during the holidays.
What’s In The Beauty Box?
I think it should include those day to day can’t live withouts, like the Clarisonic brush and our favourite serums; the beauty box should also include a little indulgence.
A new scented candle, a fragrant soap, a treatment mask and facial oil.
And make up… a new nail and lip colour never fails to win me over.

there would be treatment masks from fresh… have you tried fresh? a total treat.
i can’t live without serum and clarins double serum is one of my all time go-to products, i use others from time to time but this serum is one that i alternate with and that never lets me down.
and their facial oils are beautiful… lotus for combination, blue orchid for dryer skin.
armani maestro foundation and cc cream are the best… i’m dying to try the maestro fusion blush… it’s definitely going in
i have missed my clarisonic ( it’s been packed away) we are back together now, a few times a week is enough for me… it does make all the difference
lipsticks and nail colour… i’m thinking the reds, the burnt reds and the deep oranges 55, 56 and 57… and pop art for my nails… what about you?
kiehl’s creme de corps is another quiet achiever… we all love this lotion in our home
for luxuriating… maison blanc, burning by the bath or in the suitcase for home away from home
and for the bath or shower… anything at all from divine fresh
A beauty box… such an extravagant idea… it could have as many or as few products as needed.
Imagine the possibilities.
I think it is the best gift of all.
