I dare not admit to the excesses of the holidays, but as I don’t like secrets, I must come clean.
Relaxing the routines, spoiling ourselves and over indulging is not always a bad thing, as long as it has its limits. Enjoying ourselves and throwing caution to the wind can be very therapeutic and I belive that if we don’t treat ourselves from time to time, then life becomes a drudge and so do we.
The new year has well and truly started turning and now is the moment when I am re-thinking my skincare, health and exercise routines.
Starting a new year, I have promised myself that skincare is a number one priority.
Naievety is not part of the agenda and while I don’t expect flawless skin and a jawline to rival a 20 year old, I do believe that by following a regular routine and using excellent products that I will reap the benefits.
It has worked before, it will work again, it just means more effort and more “me” time. As the year progresses all the best skincare intentions become relegated to the bottom of the list. There is always something that seems more important to do than look after ourselves.
Please tell me I am not the only guilty party, am I?
What skincare is back on the bathroom shelf? What are the can’t-live-withouts and what are the fresh starts?
Re- Start
1. The Clarisonic Skin Cleanser
one of the best skincare investments i have made, it does make a difference and it works even more brilliantly if i remember to use it
we have had a break and are now happy to be back together, this is one product that never lets me down
3. SK II Mask and Facial Essence
with regular use the masks and essence clear and brighten the skin; i noticed a big change in my skin without these two
4. Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask
totally heavenly and indulgent, recommended by my pharmacist in france; she was absolutely right, the mask to use when you need a little spoiling ( and plumping)
** there is a very generous gift with purchase at nordstrom if you are ready to try this one and don’t forget there are always free samples to choose from
