After the dresses, what is next to think about?
After the presents and the wrapping – nearly done – the packing is happening and last is the beauty/make-up bag.
I like to travel light in this department.
Taking too many potions is not my idea of a relaxing break. Cleansing, serum, nourishing and maybe a mask alongside a minimum make-up is my goal. Sometimes if I think there will be time for a beauty detox – and this holiday I am making time – there will be a little extra treat for a long and lazy bath.
What about holiday make-up?
Make-up has become more and more minimum for me and my bag contains a small selection of tried and true favourites.
My Top 10 checklist:
Primer, Concealer, Tinted Coverage, Whitening Eye Kajal, Darker Eye Pencil
Mascara, Eyebrow Gel, Translucent Powder, Lip Pencils, Fragrance
On holidays I leave the blusher at home and use the lip pencils for highlighting.
This is a quick make-up routine and one I can almost complete with my eyes shut. In the evenings I swap the nude lip for the deeper shade and add a bit more eye drama with the pencil. The days of an elaborate make-up routine have long passed me by.
The Countdown is on here.
Finish wrapping, start packing and holidays here we come. xv
