Imagine a time when we wear dresses.
We go all the way and have our hair styled and maybe even professional make-up. Heels even? I feel positively dizzy at the thought ;)
If nothing less I have been dreaming of dressing up, at least for some time during the holidays. Maybe full-on gala won’t make it but any little black dress would do the trick. It’s not that I’m not enamoured and grateful for the sweats and sneakers – the uniform of 2020 – I truly am, but maybe, just maybe a dress would be a refreshing change. My dress-up Fridays at the beginning of “all this” started out strong but during this last lockdown, I seemed to have failed dismally.
Time to remedy that and as it’s shopping weekend all over the land I have found a few for our consideration; not too outrageous and wearable for most occasions. xv
