Let’s Play A Game: Fill In The Blanks

ten things revealed about you

I have always loved short and sharp word games.

Let’s have a little fun mid week and get to know each other better.

Emma, who is helping me with the site and all the bits I find too complicated, asked me ten questions. I said nothing too cheeky; easy questions that would shed a little light. I had to answer off the cuff and with no time to plan the perfect response.

This is exactly how I filled in the blanks.

I never leave the house without —- the iPhone

Guilty, I am attached to my phone. I wish I wasn’t but I am.

This time next year I hope to be —- on holiday

Why not? Provence at this time of year is heavenly.

My biggest guilty pleasure is —- chocolate

I am sure you understand this one. I resist from time to time but not always.

Something that always cheers me up is —- a beauty treatment

I don’t often have time for a beauty day, so when I do it feels like total luxury.

My worst habit is —- too much time on the computer

The Internet and I are BFF’s; I can’t lie to you.

The best part of my day is —- seeing my children

They are the greatest company and I can never have enough time with them.

My biggest pet peeve is —- the selfie

Don’t get me started. Sometimes enough is enough.

The best gift ever given to me —- an ice swan

We had moved to London two weeks before my birthday. My middle daughter (ten years old at the time) managed to find online and have delivered an ice sculpture. She had used all her pocket money to buy this beauty. The swan stayed in the garden for some time before slowly melting away. I still think about her thoughtfulness and nothing has changed.

The last book I read was —- Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy

I am a Hardy fan from way back. I try and re-read a favourite every year.

If I am feeling down I boost my confidence with —- red lipstick

Never fails me.

I’d love you to fill in the blanks; I always want to get to know more about you, xv.
