Paris: Hotel Daniel, If You Love Chinoiserie

Hotel Daniel, Paris - Vicki Archer

Hotel Daniel… near to the Champs Élysées in the 8th arrondissement is one of those boutique hotels that makes you feel as if you have found your own home away from home in Paris.

Hotel Daniel is artfully decorated with a Chinoiserie feel… it was warm and inviting, so cosy and supremely comfortable.

Boutique style, it is small and it is intimate.

We managed to spend plenty of time in the salon… before and after our day… drinking tea and enjoying an apero.

Hotel Daniel is the perfect launch point for the Trocadero, the 16th and the Golden Triangle… Avenues Georges V, Champs Élysées and Montaigne are right close by. Avenue Montaigne is probably my most favourite people watching street of all.

L’Avenue for lunch and the Four Seasons Hotel Georges V… flowers and martinis… some of the best.

The bedrooms at Hotel Daniel are very comfortable.

It’s Europe so nothing is overly spacious but that’s life in the old world and as long as the beds are luscious and the bathrooms, luxurious. I’m happy.
