I am off travelling today… and as I drove out of the farm in Provence yesterday I thought about all the air miles I will fly before I return home to France.
I am not complaining …never… I love travelling. The what to pack is always more of a headache than the jet lag ever is.
I will be one month give or take on the road… The US, London and Australia… so what goes in the one bag is a challenge.

I took my own advice and went monochrome… with a dash of peach and a leopard spot or two…. for those moments when the white on black and the black on white becomes too much.
As I planned my wardrobe… and played with the polaroid camera… I realised that a lot of my pieces are old favourites…The leather biker, the leopard shift… the LBD, the tuxedo jacket and the white blazer.
Everything I have packed is interchangeable.
Plus… the heels… Plus… my new crush, the New Balance trainers… and a pair of black flats which aren’t in the pics.

I have still to pack some jewellery… a couple of bracelets… necklaces and some drop earrings. Nothing precious, all statement.
And loads of tee shirts… black and white ones…these “essential” from the Gap are my besties, right now.
Not forgetting the white shirt and a black blouse.
