Sometimes we forget the basics.
Basics or essentials are those pieces at hand, ready when we are and ones that work on repeat. They are the answers or part solutions to the what-to-wear conundrum and they are the wardrobe basics we love. Generally, the words comfort and flatter come to mind. Most of us would consider the tee shirt as a basic, a non-negotiable on our essentials list. There is one addendum to this, the lace tee.
Lace tees have been a basic/essential in my wardrobe for years. A simple shape and pretty detail works alone or underneath a jacket. They work with jeans; they work with a pair of tuxedo trousers. Add a camisole for daywear or brave it up with a lace bra underneath for evening glam.
