Weekend Wardrobe: The Indispensable Parka

The parka is indispensable.
In my weekend wardrobe, it’s more often than not my jacket of choice.

I wear mine just as Olivia Palermo in the above photographs and I also wear mine with dresses if I venture out in the evenings.


It might not be everybody’s favourite coat, but it is one of mine.


Without exception, I am crushing on the eccentric parkas from Mr & Mrs Italy. Their colour combinations with khaki are fabulous – think emerald greens, strawberry pinks or the cobalt blues.

They are gorgeous but they are also on the “divine inspiration” end of the dressing budget.


Which is why when I find something similar at a fraction of the cost I’m all in. Of course, this one is not the same but it’s good and a no-brainer for the winter wardrobe.


The khaki colour is right, the length perfect for this time of year and the lining in cream faux shearling matches just about everything in the weekend wardrobe.
