Summer skin saviours, those products that we know and love and cannot live without.
There are favourites and then there are favourites.
Provence is hot, dry and unrelenting when it comes to heat. I use double the amount of skincare over the summer and spend twice as long following my beauty routines. It is that kind of climate and without humidity to keep the skin hydrated the “saviours” come into their own.
Drinking water is obligatory. Every day is a plus 2 litres day. Louis will be pleased.
This year there are no surprises in my top 5.
They are products that we have spoken about before. I will be upping the iS clinical super serum and lavishly applying the Earth Tu Face coconut body butter.
These two are relatively new skincare additions and I am confident they won’t let me down.
The coconut crush is new, but the serum I have been using for some months and feel my skin is far more hydrated and the texture ‘smoother’ than before. Wrinkles aside, (it’s serum not magic potion) I am very pleased with this serum.
The Top 5 are the tip of the iceberg when it comes to skincare, there is the cleanser I cannot live without and the perfect Chantecaille sunscreen, but the five are my non-negotiable. I won’t leave home without them.
What’s new in your skincare world? Do you have a Top 5 for summer? xv
