I’m often asked about my favourite beauty products.
What do I use? What really works? How to wear red lips? What about the nude shades? Does age preclude me from playing with eye make-up? These are questions we all deliberate over unless we are 150% self-confident in our own beauty regime. I am certainly not there yet.
Beauty is about so much more than skincare and make-up and if you have read my 20 Best-Kept Beauty Secrets you know how I feel.
But, there are products I love because they either make a difference or they feel wonderful. I don’t believe in miracles when it comes to skincare, I have wasted too much time and money chasing this quest, but using these on a regular basis does help. Some items I have used for more than 20 years, others less – they come and go and I mix them up – but there is always a place for them on my beauty shelf.
Go all out, have a bonanza and try them all or build up the collection slowly starting with your essential.
In the meantime the easiest beauty fix is here. xv
